It needs a great penance to prove so on varying subjects of life to attain this status, which needs tough penance. Penance which makes one reaches at true self. And holy basil in the form of Sri sri Tulsi ji attain all those on the subject of life to attract the divine love of supreme and reflects it as blessings on devotees.
Her penance was to attain the divine love of Lord Sri Hari Krishna as per the quotes of scripture, which she attain through her great penance at badrikavan and attain the boon from sri Brahma ji for the ultimate glory of being exist on the chapter of divine spirit. She attains that perfection which is even not possible for gods in the sky due to her immense penance.
